     Altaf Hussain Appeals For Donations

Founder and Leader of Altaf Hussain has appealed to the well-off people to donate generously for the grand public meeting being organized at Jinnah Ground on 30th January. The donations can be made at MQM Head Office at Nine Zero in Azizabad or deposited directly in account number 1000916 of MCB Bank, Water Pump Branch. Mr Altaf Hussain said that MQM was a representative political party of the poor and middle class people and run its affairs from the donations given by public. He said that MQM was actively working to end the prevalent system in the country that exploited poor and middle class people and the donations given by people particularly those who are well-off for meeting the expenses of the public meeting of 30th January would go a long way in its struggle. KARACHI: Thousands of the Karachi Electric Supply Company’s (KESC) sacked employees and their family members welcomed the decision of their restoration after four days of protest. KESC's affected people and their families looked very happy as they distributed sweets and congratulated each other after hearing news of their restoration. Earlier,  MQM Founder Leadr Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned KESC’s decision of sacking more than 4,000 employees. He asked KESC to restore the sacked employees; they have now been restored. The employees thanked the government, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and media for supporting them and playing an important role in their restoration.

KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain said on Friday that his party will never compromise on the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan. He added that Pakistan can become the richest nation of the world if its natural resources are utilised in a proper manner. Altaf was addressing a telephonic conference at the Nine Zero after speaking to PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Friday. Lashing out at the Punjab government, he said it had miserably failed to protect the life and property of citizens.
