London 22nd May 2011......MQM UK holds a general workers meeting in regards to the 33rd foundation day of APMSO. MQM UK Organiser Dr.Saleem Danish, Joint organiser Faiz Ahmed, members organising committee,Unit incharges,unit committee members of various local units and larger number of workers participated in this meeting. MQM UK Holds Referendum Programmes
A large number of Pakistanis living in United Kingdom took part in the referendum called by the Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) in order to ascertain public opinion regarding the sensitive situation in Pakistan. The largest event was held at the Central Office of MQM UK in which MQM workers, office-bearers and members of the Pakistani community participated. They expressed their views by filling in the form containing the questions asked by Mr Altaf Hussain. The MQM UK also held programmes in other cities of UK including Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Rotherham, Bolton, Peterborough, Northampton and Coventry in order to facilitate people for expressing their views in referendum. Kashmiries and Pakistani community living in these cities showed keen interest in filling in the questionnaire form. They also appreciated the step of seeking public opinion in for making future line of action.
